FB.Tools Terms of Service

1. Scope of the Terms

These Terms apply to the FB.Tools browser extension for Chrome (MV3) and Firefox, and to the fb.tools website, including the shop catalog. They do not cover separate subdomains — 2fa.fb.tools and check.fb.tools — which have their own terms. Standalone tools in the repository (including any Python scripts) and other FB.Tools products are also subject to separate terms.

2. Acceptance

Installing the Extension in your browser, updating to a newer version, opening the fb.tools website or browsing the catalog means you accept the current version of these Terms. When the Terms change, continued use of the services after the updated version is published at fb.tools/en/terms constitutes acceptance of that update.

3. Extension: license and restrictions

FB.Tools grants you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Extension for personal and professional purposes related to managing your own or your clients' Facebook assets. You may not: sell, sublicense or bundle the Extension into paid products without FB.Tools's written consent; distribute modified versions as the original FB.Tools; bypass technical restrictions; or use the Extension for abuse, spam, fraud or any other unlawful activity.

5. Catalog: nature of the service

The shop catalog on fb.tools is an independent public storefront. fb.tools is not a marketplace, payment processor or party to transactions between users and third-party shops. Information about products, prices, availability, characteristics and selling terms is informational and may be incomplete, inaccurate or outdated. FB.Tools does not guarantee the availability of products or shops, the accuracy of the information shown, and is not liable for stale or incorrect data.

6. Catalog: relationships with third-party shops

All interactions related to purchasing — placing an order, payment, delivery, warranties, returns, exchanges and disputes — occur exclusively between you and the third-party shop and are governed by that shop's terms. FB.Tools is not a seller, agent, intermediary or payment recipient, does not control third-party shops' actions and is not liable for the quality of goods, order fulfillment, dishonest behavior of sellers, data breaches at third parties or any other acts or omissions of third-party shops and third parties.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

FB.Tools services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without any express or implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, freedom from errors, continuous operation or accuracy of the data displayed. Operation of the Extension fully depends on the stability and backward compatibility of Facebook APIs; Meta may change, restrict or shut down its APIs at any time, after which the corresponding features of the Extension may stop working without prior notice. The contents of the catalog are derived from external sources and may change or become unavailable at any time.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FB.Tools, its members, employees and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill or business interruption, arising from or in connection with the use or inability to use the Extension and the catalog website, inaccurate or outdated product and shop information, unavailability of the storefront, the actions of third-party shops or Meta, even if FB.Tools has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Prohibited use

When using FB.Tools services you are prohibited from:

• Using the Extension with stolen, phished or otherwise unlawfully obtained Facebook sessions.
• Integrating the Extension into mass scraping pipelines with proxies, bots, headless browsers and similar automation without Meta's explicit permission.
• Using the services to violate third-party privacy, access their data without consent or bypass their account security settings.
• Using the Extension to circumvent Facebook restrictions, restore banned assets by illegitimate means or participate in fraudulent advertising schemes.
• Decompiling, reverse-engineering or modifying the Extension to bypass technical protections or obscure its origin.
• Automated scraping of the fb.tools catalog, bulk extraction of product or shop data, circumventing technical site restrictions (rate limits, anti-bot protection, robots.txt) without prior written consent from FB.Tools.
• Reselling catalog exports, passing catalog contents off as your own product, or including them in paid services without FB.Tools's permission.

10. Changes to the Terms

FB.Tools reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The current version is always available at fb.tools/en/terms with the date of last update. Material changes will additionally be noted in the release notes of the corresponding Extension version. If you disagree with an update — stop using the services and remove the Extension.
